A sound massage is 1:1 experience where singing bowls are placed on and around your clothed body, allowing you to hear the sound and also feel the vibrations from the singing bowls.
A sound bath uses multiple instruments to create an immersive soundscape — there is no direct contact with the bowls.
A sound journey may use guided imagery to provide a sound meditation experience, although clients are free to opt out of this, and simply enjoy with a minimalist approach!
-

Results varying from person to person and pending on the set intentions. Some people may see benefits after 3-5 sessions, however, many report feeling total relaxation, greater sense of calm, and good sleep even after the first session!

While most people leave a sound therapy session feeling deeply relaxed and renewed, it is completely normal to experience mild, temporary side effects as your nervous system adjusts. As the vibrational frequencies stimulate deep tissue relaxation, fluid circulation, and emotional release, you might notice changes like headaches, muscle cramps, increased emotional sensitivity, increased tiredness, nausea or temporary lightheadedness.
Some clients may also experience vivid dreams, a temporary surge of energy, or sudden emotional shifts as stored tension leaves the body. These reactions are simply signs of your physical and energetic systems recalibrating. They generally pass within 24 to 48 hours, and you can easily support your recovery by drinking plenty of water, resting, and allowing yourself time to gently ground back into your day.
Many clients experience no noticeable after-effects beyond relaxation.
As every person responds differently, no particular response can be predicted or guaranteed. If you experience persistent, severe, or concerning symptoms, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Clients are welcome to pause or conclude a session at any time should they feel uncomfortable.

Your body is likely reacting to a deep internal shift, but it is a normal response to the process rather than a sign that something is wrong.
Here is what is happening in simpler terms:
Your nervous system is "discharging": When the vibrations start forcing your body to relax, your muscles and nerves finally drop their guard. This sudden release of built-up stress and tension often triggers an involuntary urge to fidget, twitch, or shift around.
Your brain is resisting the sudden quiet: If you are used to a fast-paced or stressful daily life, forcing your body to lie perfectly still can feel strange or unsettling to your brain. Fidgeting is your body’s way of trying to maintain control when things feel too quiet.
You might just be overstimulated: The physical vibrations of the bowls traveling through your bones and tissues can simply be an intense sensory experience. Wriggling can just be a natural reaction to your body processing that strong physical sensation.
The best thing you can do is let yourself move rather than forcing your body to stay frozen, and tell your practitioner so they can adjust the intensity of the bowls for you.
