📋 Booking & Medical Requirements

• Forms & Payment: All intake forms must be completed, and full payment must be made before a session can start.

• Medical Clearance: Written medical clearance may be requested if you have certain health concerns. The studio can postpone or decline your session if this is not provided.

• Health Disclosures: You must provide accurate health information and report any changes before future appointments.

🚫 Contraindications & Health Risks

Certain conditions restrict or alter how services can be delivered:

• Sound Massage Contraindications: Pregnancy, reflex epilepsy, osteoporosis/bone-related disease, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), severely uncontrolled blood pressure, recent surgery (within 3 months), unhealed fractures, or major injuries.

• Specialist Care: Medical clearance is required if you are receiving specialist care for cancer, severe mental health conditions, or cardiac conditions (like arrhythmias or structural heart defects).

• Implanted Devices: Pacemakers or metal implants require an individual safety assessment and potential medical clearance.

• Sound Meditation Risks: If you have epilepsy, sound-triggered seizures, severe sound sensitivity, tinnitus, or migraines, you must seek medical advice and disclose this before booking.

⏰ Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

All client-initiated changes apply regardless of the reason (including sudden illness or emergencies).

• More than 24 hours' notice: You can cancel or reschedule an in-studio appointment without any charge.

• Late Cancellation (Less than 24 hours): Incurs a fee equal to 50% of the booked service. The remaining prepaid balance is refunded to your original payment method.

• Late Rescheduling (Less than 24 hours): Allowed subject to availability and a $30 rebooking fee (which must be paid by the end of the business day). Alternatively, you can request a voucher code for your prepaid balance minus the $30 fee.

• Voucher Rules: Vouchers must be used within 3 months (extended only if the practitioner is away on leave) and are strictly non-refundable, even in the event of studio foreclosure or insolvency.

• Late Arrivals: Your session may be shortened without a price reduction. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, it will be treated as a no-show.

• No-Shows: Failing to show up without notice incurs a 100% fee of the booked service.

• Studio Cancellations: If the studio cancels your appointment, you will receive a full refund or an alternative appointment at no extra cost.

🧘 Studio Guidelines & Guest Rules

• Companions: Children, dependants, pets, and extra guests are not permitted unless you have prior verbal or written approval from the practitioner.

• Punctuality: You are expected to arrive exactly at your scheduled appointment time.

• Parking: You must follow all access instructions. Driveways and shared entrances must be kept completely clear.

• Substances: Smoking, vaping, and illicit substances are strictly prohibited. Intoxicated clients will be refused service.

• Property Damage: You are responsible for the cost of repairs or replacements if you damage studio property through negligence or misuse.

🤝 Consent, Comfort & Boundaries

• Physical Contact: Sound massage involves occasional professional physical contact (e.g., placing bowls or adjusting pillows). The practitioner must explain and get your consent first. You can decline or modify physical contact at any time.

• Session Termination: You can withdraw consent and pause or stop the session at any time. However, if you choose to end the session early (even if you feel unwell), the full booking fee remains payable and no refund is provided.

• Alertness Warning: Sessions can cause drowsiness or light-headedness. You must ensure you are fully alert before driving, or arrange alternative transport.
